Meet the Hosts

Sunder Subbaroyan & Annette Sherbeyn, and Mike & Myra Daniel bring leadership, generosity, flavor, flair, and heart to one of the Quad Cities’ most anticipated evenings –  Eat, Drink & Be Giving. This fabulous foursome doesn’t just know good wine and great food—they know how to throw a party with purpose.

Thanks to their generosity and gracious hosting (and maybe a few legendary wine pours), they’ve helped raise over $500,000 over the past several years to provide vision care and glasses to Quad Cities kids who need it most. Their commitment to creating both an exceptional experience and lasting impact is the reason this event continues to inspire and grow.

We invite you to join them once again in celebration of taste and purpose, as we uncork possibility and pour opportunity into the lives of families—fueling student success throughout our community. Proceeds support United Way Quad Cities demonstrated success at improving attendance, academic performance, and social-emotional development for thousands of local students.

$500K Raised

Thanks to generous supporters like you, Eat, Drink & Be Giving has raised over half a million dollars to help kids in the Quad Cities thrive.

4,000 Kids Impacted

4,000 students have received free vision screenings — and 900 received prescription glasses. That’s clearer vision, greater confidence, and better learning.

Focused on the Future

This year’s goal: $275,000 to help more students succeed — in school and in life. When kids are supported early, they’re more likely to show up, catch up, and keep up.

It's all for the kids.
