On May 11 come alongside our friends in labor, our Letter Carriers and the River Bend Food Bank to collect nonperishable food that will benefit students who have relied on free-and-reduced school lunches during the summer months, as well as local families in need.
Fill the yellow bag your letter carrier will deliver to you the week of the food drive with non-perishable food items, and leave it by your mailbox on Saturday May 11 before your usual mail delivery.
Together, we can ensure that food banks, pantries and shelters have the resources they need to serve our community so that we can stamp out hunger in the Quad Cities for months to come.
