Vision to Learn provides free vision screenings, eye exams and glasses to children from low-income neighborhoods through a partnership with United Way QC and elementary schools. It is made possible only through forward-thinking investors and funders, listed below.
2023 marked the tenth year of enhancing the student success for the United Way Quad Cities’ Education Council. Comprising superintendents, business leaders, skilled trades representatives and funders from Scott and Rock Island Counties, this dynamic council serves as a unique regional asset, fostering cross-sector partnerships.
For 20 years, United Way Quad Cities, in partnership with the American Association of Retired People (AARP), has coordinated the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, to provide free and reliable assistance for low- and moderate-income individuals and families in filing their tax returns.

Special thank you to our partners who helped collect nutritious meals for low-income students and their families throughout the summer. Our 2023 “Stamp Out Hunger” Food Drive netted twice as many meals as the year before.
