It’s time to get real.

Learning for thousands of Quad Cities students has been stalled because of the coronavirus pandemic of 2020. We may not be able to bring large groups of volunteers together but that won’t stop us from making sure our kids at Learning Centers and schools get the tools they need to be safe, learn and succeed in school.

Help us ensure 10,000 local kids and families who need support have the tools needed to start the school year right.

A positive, healthy learning environment is one way as a community we can put opportunity in the hands of local students– and all Quad Citizens. There are three ways your company can help local students in grades Pre-K to 12.
  • Host a Drive - Host a school, hygiene and cleaning supply drive in your workplace July 7-15. Items can be dropped off at drive-up location – Quad-City Times, 500 E 3rd Street, Davenport, IA on July 16. We have a communication’s toolkit ready to help you promote the drive.
  • Virtual Drive - Your employees can shop and purchase materials through our online store and we’ll pack, sort and deliver them for you. As little as $30 will equip one student with a backpack and basic set of supplies.
  • In-Person and Virtual Drive – Your company can choose to host a collection drive and promote the virtual drive at the same time!
  • WORDS MATTER. In addition to the drive, your employees can write an encouraging message to be delivered with your supplies. Download a special notecard to complete here. Messages can be dropped off or mailed to the United Way office before July 16. On July 16 they can be dropped off with their supplies from 7am to 2pm at the Quad-City Times.
