United Way has an effective, efficient fundraising model based on best practices. The majority of donations come from the workplace where people donate directly from their paycheck. There are over 20,000 donors from around 500 companies across the Quad Cities who participate in the annual campaign. These donors change the future of our community.
Each company has a United Way champion, the Employee Campaign Coordinator (ECC), who inspires other employees to donate. They coordinate the company’s campaign, organize fundraising events and rallies, and keep donors updated about United Way’s work. An ECC is the foundation of the work United Way accomplishes in our community.
If you are an ECC, thank you for your hard work and dedication. We know that you take on these responsibilities over and above your normal job. Your support helps change thousands of Quad Citians’ lives every day. Hold a Raffle. If your company is considering holding any type of raffle to raise money for United Way, please contact Kelly Weinbrandt at 563.344.0324 to set up your raffle license.
