BE BOLD FAST PITCH
Have you got an idea to change lives in the Quad Cities? We are excited to help you make that happen.
New in 2020, United Way's Be BOLD Fast Pitch encourages the creation of bold new solutions for issues of education, income and health in the Quad Cities. This program provides nonprofit executives with critical resources - funding, mentorship and community connections - to accelerate the growth and stability of their innovative ventures.
There are three components to the Be BOLD Fast Pitch program:
- Application Process: Up to eight Quad Cities nonprofit leaders will be selected to participate in the Be BOLD Fast Pitch program.
- Mentorship & Coaching: Each nonprofit leader will participate in three one-on-one mentoring and coaching sessions with a Be BOLD coach.
- Participation: The Be BOLD Fast Pitch competition is an opportunity for increased visibility and a chance for seed funding.
The "Shark Tank-like" competition will be five minutes of high-energy, rapid-fire presentation, during which the finalists will share their mission, vision and impact of their idea with judges and audience to compete for funding to make their idea a reality.
More information on how the program works and application process will be available soon. Be BOLD Fast Pitch contestants are not required to attend BOLD Institute sessions but are encouraged.
