Rise United 2030

Rise United

A 10-year blueprint for improving education, income and health in the Quad Cities.

When we Rise United, we give every student the education they deserve, help all students find a job that utilizes their talents and prove health is the greatest wealth of all.

Rise United is a plan created by community partners joining forces to advance racial equity in the areas of education, income and health. Led by United Way Quad Cities, we’re tackling root causes of systemic barriers to success.

Our local focus.

Looking to make a difference right here at home? So are we.

All our work is dedicated to all of the Quad Cities. We leverage our proven model and deploy it with a local lens to create the most impact possible. We’re helping our home and our neighbors through the most powerful nonprofit funding available.

Together, we can support the building blocks that work toward this aspiration so that all:

Clear goals. Lasting impact.

To achieve these goals, we are focusing on three key levers to drive transformative change and advance racial equity in education, income and health:

Quad Cities students will graduate high school prepared for success in college or career.
Increase to
55 %
the number of students reading on grade level by 3rd grade.

Quad Citizens have stable career pathways leading to financial stability and security.
Increase by
1 %

the number of young adults earning living wages, adding $116M in wages per year to the economy.

Quad Citizens have access to routine health care allowing them to live long, healthy lives.
Increase to
55 %

the percent of Quad Citizens reporting having routine health care.

You can make an impact.

At United Way Quad Cities, we invite our community to advance these community goals by giving, advocating and volunteering to create long-term change.
