Imagination Library

Reading to a child regularly opens up a whole new world of imagination and excitement. Parents and teachers both say that books help children learn words and concepts and prepare them for kindergarten. It is one of the easiest ways there is to prepare a child for school. Now it’s gotten even easier.

All children from birth to age five who live in Rock Island or Scott Counties are eligible to have age-appropriate books mailed to their homes each month at no cost to the family.

Beyond the Book: We offer a variety of suggested activities to do with your child to help them bring their Imagination Library books to life.

Eight to ten weeks after your registration form has been received, books will begin arriving at your home and will continue until your child turns five or you move out of Scott or Rock Island County. Questions? Contact Amy Daniels or call 563.344.0344.

You can sponsor a child for one year of Imagination Library for just $30. Donate to Imagination Library.
