Children are Born Learning. Between birth and age five, the brain is extremely responsive to experience. Research has proven that a child’s brain is nearly fully developed by age five. That gives parents 5 short years to prepare their child for kindergarten.

Born Learning Academies

Dream Big for Your Kids. Born Learning Academies are a series of six workshops for parents with children birth to age 5.

  • Learn how to prepare your child for school, starting when they’re born.
  • Free dinner.
  • Free child care provided.
  • Free giveaways for kids and parents.
  • Space limited to 20 families.
  • Each family that attends 5 of the 6 workshops is awarded a tablet pre-loaded with age-appropriate apps for your children.

Please note that all academies are limited to 20 families at each location and are available first come first served. In order to participate in an academy, you must have a child who hasn’t yet entered kindergarten and/or be expecting a child.

Born Learning Trails

Get outside and visit a trail for outdoor fun and learning. Born Learning Trails are fun, physical learning activities designed for parents or caregivers to play with young children. These may include fun games or activities that can be found on aluminum signs such as count the number of flowers or colors nearby, hopscotch, identifying shapes, colors, and various images painted on the ground, and much more.
