Quality Innovation Center Director - Iowa Kids Net

(IKN) is currently seeking full time candidates for a Quality Innovation Center (QIC) Director. This position will develop and oversee quality and utilization management services. IKN is a partnership of six agencies serving child welfare contracts. A Bachelors degree and a minimum of three years administrative and supervisory experience in quality assurance, and utilization management required. Customer Relations Specialist - Americorps
This position is responsible for providing high-level customer service in response to all customer and stakeholder inquiries and leads, and volunteer screenings. The position maintains information in the AIM database. A successful Customer Relations Specialist will produce positive outcomes in the following areas: volunteer yield and processing time; youth yield; youth/parent processing time; customer satisfaction, and quality ratings in customer relations processing leading to high match retention.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. All customer and stakeholder contacts are marked by an atmosphere of engagement and motivation.
2. Ensure that all volunteers and clients receive an engaging, positive and personalized response promoting BBBS programs.
- Effectively move the volunteer and client from the point of first contact (inquiry) to active enrollment (interview).
- Determine the best way to get volunteer and client investment in the enrollment process.
- Identify and eliminate any barriers interfering with the initial enrollment process.
- Follow process through to next point of contact.
3. Obtain preliminary contact information and schedule enrollment interview within prescribed time frame.
4. Send enrollment forms and program information as needed to volunteers and clients.
5. Collaborate with other program staff to ensure smooth transition among functions.
6. Respond to all volunteer or parental calls, emails, or web inquiries regarding involvement with agency or their enrollment status (or that of their children). Ensure that all such inquiries receive prompt and informative response.
7. Respond to all calls requesting general information; communicating basic information, flexibility and volunteer choice.
8. Persistently and accurately track and maintain recurring contact with potential volunteers and families who have not yet begun the enrollment process.
9. Check reference and conduct criminal and child abuse background checks for volunteers. Immediately bring to the attention of program staff any concerns surfacing during reference checking that may influence the volunteer enrollment process.
10. Promote BBBS and present volunteer options to references.
11. Ensure that all match files are accurate, timely, and in accordance with the Service Delivery Model.
12. Ensure the Standards of Practice, Service Delivery Model, and BBBSMV Policies and Procedures are being followed at all times.
13. Enter all inquiries and pertinent data into AIM, ensuring accuracy and timelines.
14. Oversee match activities, to include facilitating a match activities committee on a continual basis and assist in planning and executing the match activities.

The successful incumbent will produce positive outcomes in the following areas: volunteer yield rate and processing time, child yield rate and processing time; match closure rate, average match length, customer satisfaction, school relationships and satisfaction, and supervision of specified staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with schools in the specified area. Identify and work with key stakeholders in the schools to create a quality program.
2) Work with school contacts to identify children for participation in the school-based program.
3) Work with community partners to identify volunteers for participation in the com-munity-based and school-based programs.
4) Ensure the Standards of Practice, Service Delivery Model, and BBBSMV Policies and Procedures are being followed at all times.
5) Coordinate volunteer enrollments, including individual orientations, group orienta-tions, interviews, reference checks, police checks, and completion of any other en-rollment processes in accordance with the Service Delivery Model, Standards of Practice, and BBBSMV Policies and Procedures.

Match Coach - Americorps (One evening per week and occasional Saturdays)
This position is responsible for providing high-level customer service. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining ongoing service to the mentoring relationship to ensure child safety, positive impacts for youth, constructive and satisfying relationships between children and volunteers, and a strong sense of affiliation with BBBS on the part of volunteers. The successful incumbent will produce positive outcomes in the following areas: match support contact rate, match retention, match closure rate, average match length, customer satisfaction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Establish and maintain professional working relationships with schools in the as-signed territory. Identify and work with key stakeholders in schools to create a quality program.
2) Ensure that ongoing match support of all stakeholders is provided in a timely manner within the requirements of the Standards of Practice and Service Delivery Model. Match support includes, but is not limited to:
- Through scheduled in-person, telephone and electronic contact with matches, ascertaining that the elements of child safety, match relationship development, positive youth development and volunteer satisfaction are fulfilled and that potential problems and barriers are identified and ad-dressed as early as possible.
- Form and sustain appropriate child, adult volunteer-based relationships based on positive youth development and volunteer satisfaction are ful-filled and that potential problems and barriers are identified and addressed as early as possible.
- Effectively assess and execute the following relational support skills: guiding, supporting, confronting, advising and/or negotiating; relate well in multicultural environments; effectively collaborate with other volunteer match staff; use time effectively; and focus on details.
- Assessing and implementing individual and group training needs.
- Ensuring high-level proficiency in applying child safety and risk manage-ment within the matches.
- Developing strategic interventions to identify and strengthen match rela-tionships that require extra support.
- Implementing and promoting match activities to support ongoing volun-teer involvement through individualized recognition, annual events, and reengagement strategies.
- Conducting evaluations on matches when needed.
- Conducting exit interviews by phone or in person with all parties at match closure. Assess reasons for match closure and re-match potential.
3) Provide timely and comprehensive written summaries of all contacts with accor-dance to national and local standards in the AIM system.
4) Administer measurement tools, to include customer satisfaction surveys, program outcome evaluations, strength of relationship and youth outcome surveys.
5) Participate in match activities planning committees.
6) Participate in planning and executing Big Little Trainings.
7) Ensure that all match files are accurate, timely, and in accordance with the Serv-ice Delivery Model.
