United Way seeks over 800 volunteers for the Spring Day of Caring on Thursday, May 18, 2017. During Day of Caring thousands of volunteers come together on one day to volunteer at numerous projects at non-profit organizations throughout the Quad Cities.
This year, all projects align with United Way’s work in Education, Income, and Health. Volunteer projects include reading to children, staffing mobile food pantries, creating welcoming spaces, and much more.
•Morning, afternoon, and full day projects are available.
•Individuals, and teams of all sizes are welcome.
•Look for the E, I, H icons (Education, Income, and Health) to identify where projects align.
•Projects are available on a first come, first serve basis.
•Registration deadline is Wednesday, May 3.
•When you register, you need to have all participants’ names and information, including shirt sizes.
